Meet the Montesano team

Administrator: David G. Miller, BA, NHA.

David is a certified nursing home administrator. He has 23 years of experience in skilled nursing facility administration.

Director of Admissions & Marketing: Jennifer Bureau

Jennifer Bureau is our Director of Admissions and Marketing. She is responsible for coordinating with outside agencies to admit new residents into our center as smoothly as possible. When not actively working to admit a new or returning resident into our center, Jennifer is out and about making sure we are an active part in the growth and development of our community. She is always up for taking part in community events or setting up educational seminars for folks in the community to lead safer, healthier lives. Jennifer has been a member of our center staff since September 2000, first working in our kitchen, and then she ran our Medical Records department for 3 years. She is one very intelligent, hard working woman whom we are proud to call our own!

Director of Nursing Services: Steven Jay, RN, DON

Steven H. Jay joined our center's family on May 5th 2008. Steve has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years - having been named the Outstanding Nurse Student (by fellow students) in the first class at Grays Harbor Community College to have instituted that honor. He has since held several managerial positions, including his last position as DNS of Willapa Harbor Care Center. Steve also attended Western Oregon State University - majoring in Economics and minoring in Public Administration before he ever thought about becoming a nurse. He then held a variety of managerial positions in a number of industries, so he comes to us with LOTS of different kinds of experience.

Director of Social Services: Bonnie Farinas (Subacute social services)

Bonnie Farinas assists those residents new to a nursing home setting by evaluating needs and health changes on a continuous basis. She helps residents settle into their new environment, as well as assist residents and their families with the changes that may occur with an alteration in their functioning in and outside of the center. Farina is dedicated to helping residents acheive their highest level of functioning in and outside the center. She has over 22 years of experience in a long-term care setting and over 20 years as a social worker.
